Victim Advocacy

The Mundelein Police Department believes in a compassionate, respectful, and trauma-informed response to crime victims. Victim advocacy services are available to anyone who has been the victim of a crime in Mundelein. There does not need to be a police report made to access services. Victim advocacy services include:

  • Safety planning
  • Assistance with orders of protection
  • Assistance with active criminal cases
  • Information and advocacy regarding crime victims’ rights
  • Community referrals
