This investigation began on July 31, 2017 when the Department of Children and Family Services notified the police department that an employee of Mundelein High School may have engaged in sexual acts with a female student in June of 2017.  The subsequent investigation lead to the discovery of one victim who was at least 13 but under 17 years of age.
