Mundelein Police Department to host a Senior Citizens’ Police Academy

MUNDELEIN, IL— 08/17/17— The Mundelein Police Department's Senior Citizens' Police Academy provides an excellent  opportunity for senior citizens, who live and/or work in or near the Village of Mundelein and are 55 years old or older, to become familiar with the day-to-day operations of the Police Department.  Attending the academy will enable participants to gain a better understanding of the procedures, guidelines, responsibilities, demands, personnel, equipment, policies and laws that guide the department's decisions.

The next Senior Citizens Police Academy is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.   Classes will run every Wednesday for 10 weeks ending with a graduation scheduled for Wednesday, November 15, 2017.  The location of the class will be at the Mundelein Police Department, 221 North Lake Street, Mundelein, IL 60060.
