Golf Outing to Benefit Special Olympics

The Mundelein Police Department is seeking your help in kicking off our 18th annual Golf Outing to benefit the Special Olympics of Illinois. The event will be held at Steeplechase Golf Course in Mundelein on Monday, May 21, 2018, and we are sure it will be very successful.

Every year members of the law enforcement community raise money to support participants and volunteers at the local, regional, state, and world Special Olympic Games.  The Law Enforcement Special Olympics Torch Run started in 1986 and raised $10,000.  In 2017 more than $4.4 million was raised, Illinois is ranked #2 in the world, the Mundelein Police Department is ranked #9 in Illinois raising $43,575.14.  Our 2017 goal is to raise $50,000.

Individuals or business can participate by sponsoring a hole or donating a raffle prize for the Golf Outing.  Hole sponsors are $125 per sign.  We’ll handle everything . . . just send us any graphics and wording you want on your sign.  Please send your raffle prize or hole sponsor payment to the Mundelein Police Department/Special Olympics, 221 North Lake Street, Mundelein, IL 60060.   Hole sponsor graphics can be e-mailed to jmarshall@mundelein.org.  EPS format preferred but we’ll work with the format you have.

Of course, you are always welcome to golf!
